In the MWL Foundation’s office in Lezhë, we had the pleasure of welcoming Monsignor Ionut Paul Strejac, the Apostolic Nuncio of the Holy See in Albania, to introduce him to some of our work. During the visit, we held a training session with women beneficiaries of vocational courses, discussing the challenges they face in the informal labor market, such as long working hours and lack of rest. We emphasized the importance of professional training and knowledge of their rights, so women can empower themselves and demand their rights. 
The visit also included a meeting with local partners, where we presented a new project being implemented with Italian partners aimed at addressing gender-based violence and strengthening mechanisms to protect women.
Monsignor thanked the foundation and partners for their dedication to those in need. The visit concluded with the words of Pope Francis:
«What fills life is not to be served, but to serve.»
