In 2024, Mary Ward Loreto (MWL) provided vital support to 415 beneficiaries through a wide range of services, including counseling, needs assessments, referrals, accompaniment to services, emergency aid, and direct assistance.
Here are some of the key highlights from our work this year:
- Coordinated Response with Local Mechanisms
MWL played a central role in building safe and compassionate environments for those in need—proving the power of strategic, well-coordinated action at the local level. - Rise UP & EmpowerFull Clubs
The Rise UP clubs, part of the EmpowerFull program, saw impressive success in Lushnja, Lezha, and Rrëshen, creating supportive spaces for young people to grow and lead. - Awareness Raising Campaigns
MWL reached over 600 individuals through campaigns, focus groups, and public events aimed at preventing human trafficking and exploitation—empowering communities with knowledge and action. - Economic Empowerment
Through job coaching, vocational training, and employment opportunities, our Economic Empowerment program transformed lives and helped many build a more stable and independent future. - Civic Education Program
This program made a strong impact across several districts, promoting youth leadership, internet safety, and community involvement through targeted training sessions.
