Alice Taylor is a British-born journalist who has lived in Albania since 2017 and obtained Albanian citizenship in 2025. With more than 15 years as an investigative reporter, she specialises in human rights, media freedom, corruption, and social issues, with human trafficking and domestic violence at the centre of both her journalism and activism.

Since settling in Albania, she launched the country’s first podcast, Explaining Albania, for the online platform Exit.al in 2020. She later joined Euronews Albania, where she hosts Inside Albania, the country’s only bilingual (English-Albanian) current-affairs programme. Alice also reports on Albania and Kosovo for the BBC, The Times, and other international outlets.

She also worked remotely for three and a half years as senior editor at international EU policy and politics media Euractiv, then joined POLITICO Europe as an editor. She was a founding member and served on the board for two mandates of the Albanian Ethical Media Alliance, which promotes ethical standards and self-regulation in digital media.

Alice has authored three books on Albania and is writing a fourth on the trafficking of foreign nationals into the country, based on interviews with survivors and traffickers. She also makes films and documentaries about Albanian culture and travel, and creates social media content about life in Albania, which amasses over 12 million views a month. Alice is also an experienced event moderator and public speaker, a journalism lecturer at local public and private educational institutions, and a corporate communications trainer for private companies in Albania and Kosovo.
