In the city of Rrëshen, the project “Come to Mirdita” marked a successful collaboration between the students of the 9-year school “Mother Teresa” and the Mary Ward Loreto Foundation. Developed within the framework of the “Learning through Service” methodology, the project offered students a unique opportunity to blend academic learning with real-world community engagement.
This methodology:
- builds directly on the school curriculum,
- cultivates critical thinking and problem-solving,
- nurtures civic responsibility and solidarity.
Through their involvement, students not only deepened their understanding of classroom subjects but also actively contributed to celebrating and promoting the cultural and social heritage of the Mirdita region. As a testament to their commitment, each student received a certificate of participation.
