Domestic violence is a deeply complex issue that we face every day. Recently, we were confronted with the urgent need to find temporary shelter for a mother with more than five children, whose lives and well-being would have been seriously at risk if they had not been immediately relocated from their home.
Despite numerous challenges and a lack of resources, we had the will and determination to stand by these individuals during the most difficult moment of their lives. Thanks to the support of the community, this family now has a safe place to call home. This is a small but significant step toward restoring dignity and security for a mother and her children.
