Board Member
Lindita Nushi has nearly thirty years of experience in the Albanian State Police, specialising in criminal investigation, border management, analytics, and the investigation of illegal trafficking. She completed her higher studies at the Police Academy (1994–1997) and earned a Master of Science in Criminal Law (2017–2019).
She has participated in dozens of national and international training courses, including programs run by the FBI and ILEA in Europe, United States and Egypt. She has substantial experience in managing cross border investigations, contributing significantly to the fight against organized crime and human trafficking. She currently leads the Small Arms and Light Weapons Unit, working to prevent the illegal possession and trafficking of firearms.
Lindita is recognized for her calm yet powerful leadership. She is passionate about helping the most vulnerable in society and ensuring that the rights and dignity of individuals and communities are upheld. In 2022, she was licensed by the Ministry of Justice as a Mediator for conflict resolution. She has a particular interest in supporting women who are subject to exploitation. She is an active mentor of young police personnel in encouraging their professional development and is an advocate for the empowerment of women within the State Police.
