In 2014, Mary Ward Loreto experienced a remarkable expansion in both scale and impact, increasing its staff to 17 and launching five new centres to serve women, youth, and marginalized communities across Albania. New initiatives included the Youth Education for Prosperity (YEP) project, the Think Tank for Education Reform, and expanded anti-trafficking efforts in 40 regions. The Foundation worked closely with local and international partners to deliver psychological support, economic empowerment, and human development programs, reaching over 1,000 women and engaging hundreds more in social businesses and vocational training. Strengthened by collaboration with the Medaille Trust and other European networks, MWL continued its mission to combat human trafficking and build dignity, hope, and justice for Albaniaโs most vulnerable populations.
