1609 – Mary Ward formally begins her mission of female education and active service.

2005 – Sister Imelda Poole is called to Albania to begin anti-trafficking work.

2012 – The Mary Ward Loreto Foundation is officially established on December 27.

2013–2024 – MWL expands across Albania, develops service centers, youth projects, and partners with national and international networks.

Today – MWL continues to protect victims, empower communities, and lead systemic change through a values-driven mission rooted in human dignity.
