Redion Qirjazi

    Chief Executive Officer

    Redion Qirjazi is the Chief Executive Officer of the Mary Ward Loreto Foundation (MWL), a leading non-profit organization working to combat human trafficking in Albania. Under his leadership, MWL is focusing on driving systemic change by safeguarding, rehabilitating, and reintegrating victims, while empowering communities to prevent future exploitation.

    With over 15 years of cross-sector experience in security, governance, and international development, Redion is a recognized expert in public safety and national security affairs. His career spans government (military), civil society, and the private sector, where he has led diverse teams, developed complex programs, and advised institutions on high-stakes challenges including terrorism, organized crime, violent extremism, and integrity in public institutions. Before MWL, Redion served as Country Director and Team Leader for The Palladium Group, managing a £3.25 million UK government-funded initiative aimed at diverting at-risk youth from serious and organized crime (SOC) networks in Albania. Earlier in his career, Redion served as an officer in the Albanian Army for seven years, holding multiple command positions, instructing counterinsurgency in NATO schools, and deploying to Afghanistan as a cultural and mediation officer.

    A Rotary Peace Fellow, Redion holds an M.A. in Applied Security and Strategy from the University of Exeter and a BSc in International Relations with a Minor in Terrorism Studies from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
