Genc Gjoci

    Youth Worker | Community Mobilizer | Human Trafficking & GBV Prevention Advocate

    Genc Gjoci is an experienced youth worker with a strong focus on human trafficking prevention, gender-based violence (GBV) awareness, and youth empowerment. Since 2017, he has worked with Mary Ward Loreto Foundation in Albania, leading national awareness campaigns and community-based initiatives aimed at educating vulnerable groups about the risks of exploitation.

    Rooted in his hometown of Rrรซshen, Genc applies participatory, youth-centered approaches to help adolescents and young adults build resilience, leadership skills, and a strong sense of civic responsibility. He has developed and facilitated school-based programs that promote gender equality, healthy relationships, and social inclusion, often integrating sports, art, and peer education to foster meaningful engagement.

    Genc is known for his collaborative work with educators, psychologists, and local stakeholders to implement sustainable prevention efforts. His work is guided by the belief that empowering young people locally can spark positive change globally.
