Social Worker | Anti-Trafficking Advocate | Community Empowerment Leader
With a degree in Social Work from the University of Social Sciences, Lorena Dizdari has dedicated her career to supporting individuals in vulnerable situations through inclusive and rights-based social services. Since 2018, she has served as a social worker with the Mary Ward Loreto Foundation, an organization committed to combating human trafficking and promoting human rights, especially for women and girls.
Currently, she leads the Mary Ward Loreto Counseling and Service Center in Saranda, where she specializes in case management related to human trafficking and gender-based violence. Her work involves coordinating closely with local institutions to ensure access to protection, integration, and economic empowerment services for survivors, including unaccompanied minors and individuals with special needs at the border.
A registered member of the Albanian Order of Social Workers, Lorena is committed to upholding professional ethics and advancing social justice. Her mission is to restore dignity and hope for every individual by fostering safe, resilient communities.
