The vision of the Municipality of Saranda is to create safe social and political conditions that support an active and equal role for youth in all areas of life, shaping a better future for them. A key priority is the continuous improvement of young people’s quality of life and the strengthening of their status through expanded opportunities in education, employment, healthcare, culture, and increased participation in society and decision-making processes.
This Local Youth Action Plan aims to empower the youth sector by establishing an effective and transparent mechanism that ensures youth participation not only in the consultation and preparation of youth policies but also in the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the plan itself.
The Local Youth Action Plan of Saranda seeks to:
- Identify the challenges, needs, and priorities of the city’s youth
- Propose practical solutions and areas for intervention through specific tools, mechanisms, and approaches to address those challenges.
