Overview:

Cross border work particularly between Albania and Uk is vital in helping reduce the trauma victims experience. We have been developing a strong network between both countries to help support victims found in the Uk and if they subsequently return to Albania. We have a sister charity in the Uk called Mary Ward Loreto UK.

What we will do:

We assist during the often long arduous process to help victims return to Albania, and once in Albania support them through recovery and settlement. Additional where a victim is in the asylum seeking process we can provide letters of support

We have a very effective project providing therapeutic services to victims in the Uk with our Albanian counsellors in collaboration with Medaille Trust

We also offer intelligence reports for the Albanian NRM and United Nations

What will be the impact:

Thousands of Albanians enter the UK NRM each year, we want to be able to help as many of them that need our help as possible, with your help we can build our resource base to help more in the coming year.
